EVS SV1 Race Protective Snow Vest: What Size Do I Need?
Most of the body armor we sell here at XSports Protective is designed to fit under your clothing and/or under your jacket or hoodie. The EVS SV1 Race snowmobiling protective vest is made to fit over your jacket or coat. There are distinct advantages to over-the-coat protective gear. You have immediate protection from debris and other obstacles, plus a brightly colored or reflective vest can be a lifesaver if you get lost or have mechanical problems. When trying to find the correct size, be sure to take into account all the layers of clothing and the jacket/coat you’ll be wearing. To give you some idea of how the EVS SV1 Race protective vest is sized, on the XS/SM, the front pad measures 19.5 inches at its widest point. The back pad measures 26 inches across at its widest point. Wide nylon straps can give you up to seven inches of wiggle room on each side. The EVS SV1 Trail snowmobiling protective vest is cut high so it doesn’t impede your mobility. On the XS/SM, the front panel is 13 inches at its longest point (just below the zipper to the neck).
EVS Sports
EVS Sports was founded in 1985, the inspiration of a motocross rider who developed his own knee pad out of self-preservation—he was tired of injuring his knee. The company’s original product, the AMX-5 knee brace, has been worn by some of the world's most prestigious athletes and was the building block for EVS’s broad line of protective gear that now includes a full range of knee protection, helmets, neck support, knee braces, elbow protection, ballistic jerseys, chest protection, kidney belts, gloves, tug undergear, shoulder support, ankle and wrist support, gear bags and accessories. EVS also has key alliances with Parts Unlimited, Tucker Rocky, Western Power Sports, Travis Pastrana and other top athletes.
