The 2010 Giro Station PK ski and snowboard goggles are Giro’s top of the line goggles in the cylindrical lens category. The Station PK comes with a huge cylindrical lens, they are constructed with the Giro Super Fit Full Frame anatomical design, and they have full surround goggle-frame vents. The Giro Station PK ski and snowboard goggles are truly first-rate goggles at a reasonable price, with a Parkstrap to boot.

PK, Parkstrap, or Park Strap
Known by several names, all three refer to the special strap that comes with these Giro Station goggles. The Parkstrap on these snowboard goggles attaches entirely with Velcro. It sports no bulky plastic buckle, so you can wear these goggles with the strap either under or over your helmet.

What is Super Fit?
Giro’s Super Fit engineering process is the foundation of every one of Giro’s ski and snowboard goggle designs. Every model is scaled and shaped for its intended wearer using a database of facial and cranial measurements compiled from hundreds of people large and small, young and old, currently skiing the globe. Conceptually speaking, this means that if there are perfect fitting goggles out there made specifically for you, most likely they are designed and manufactured by Giro.

All cylindrical lenses are not created equal
The lenses found on cheapy ski and snowboard goggles are cut out from large spans of flat plastic. Bending this flat plastic to fit into the goggle frame causes aberrations in the material that distorts and blurs the vision. The Giro Station’s polycarbonate lens material is actually injection molded in cylindrical form and cut in cylindrical form, so no bending of the lens takes place. For you, this means that the Giro Station’s cylindrical lenses are as optically clear when you wear it as the day it was molded.

The Giro Station PK ski and snowboard goggles provide you with:
  • Perfect fit to your face via Giro’s Super Fit Full Size anatomical design.
  • Highest quality cylindrical optics available in double-lens ski and snowboard goggles.
  • The option for ten different lens shades, like Amber Scarlet, Rose Cobalt, and Black Limo.
  • Full surround goggle-frame vents for maximum prevention against moisture and fogging.
  • A Parkstrap that adjusts with Velcro (no buckle), so you can wear the Station PK under or over your helmet.
  • An overall construction that almost eliminates gaper gap, the gap between goggles and helmet that leaves your forehead exposed to wind and cold while the rest of your head is covered.

In Its Class, the Best Vision and the Best Fit also comes with a Parkstrap
In its price range, Giro’s Station PK ski and snowboard goggles offer the best optical clarity, the best fit, and the best lens shade options of any cylindrical ski and snowboard goggle on the market. And the Station PK comes with a Velcro parkstrap for maximum versatility in the way you choose to wear your goggles. It is no surprise that it’s one of our bestsellers.
