The Giro Xen Gloves for MTB and BMX are designed for all-mountain riding. Lightly padded, the Giro Xen gloves will stand up to hard riding while helping you enhance bar control and feel.
The Giro Xen gloves have a moisture-wicking, 4 way stretch and breathable upper panel. Also on the upper panel, the Giro Xen gloves have "sonic welded armor" - fancy term for tpr strips along your outside two fingers and back of wrist.
Then, on the palm, the Xen gloves have Giro's trademarked "SuperFit" three panel design (see more info below). The gloves have a vented Clarino synthetic leather palm that is designed to take some abuse.
The Giro Xen gloves do have additional padding on the palm side, including around where your fingers attach to your palm, as well as on the outside of your hand. This padding on the Xen gloves is 2mm thick Technogel padding.
The Xen gloves do have a highly absorbent microfiber wiping surface (affectionately called the "nose wipe area"), a low-profile velcro closure around the wrist, and finally Silicone finger tip patterns on your first two fingers to facilitate better grip on the brake levers.
