Providing upper body protection, the padded shirt is designed with McDavid's HexPad Technology - dozens of individual athletic foam pads permanently bonded into the fabric. This body protection has HexPads protecting:

Rib area on sides of your torso
Outside of your arms, from shoulder down to your wrist
Your shoulders, including the collar bone area
