We heard your feedback on the first two versions of these shorts, and made more changes to make the Roller Derby padded shorts even better. More tailbone padding, more back side padding, no more pad seams, and a stronger bond to hold the pads in place.

Some of our more "traditional" padded shorts just didn't meet your needs. They offered great protection, but were too bulky. With the help of several roller derby leagues, we asked McDavid to make us something special. These are custom designed padded shorts, made just for you, with:

• Short-short leg length, so they don't stick out below your skirt or shorts
  
• McDavid's ¼ inch HexPads to protect the front of your hips around to the tailbone pad in the back
  
• Extended tailbone pad to protect against those painful falls onto your backside
  
• A small pocket on the inside of your right hip, sized just right to hold your mouthguard, ID, and credit card (just in case you stop by the bar on the way home from practice...)
  
• Lighter and less bulky than our other padded shorts
  
• Soft, high quality material (80% nylon, 20% spandex)
  
• Machine wash warm to keep them fresh
