POC Sinuse SL Helmet is POC’s purposed-designed helmet for slalom skiing. It comes with an easily attachable Maxilla chin guard for protection against slalom gates. With quickly detachable ear cups and neck padding, the Sinuse SL is also a perfect helmet for free skiing and snowboarding.

Sinuse SL – a double-shell for excellent protection and comfort
The Sinuse SL is essentially two helmets in one. Literally, this helmet sports two hardshells, the traditional exterior hardshell found on POC’s other wintersport helmets and an interior hardshell. POC designed the Sinuse SL this way to create an airflow ventilation system that could be completely opened up to cool you on those warm spring slope-side days or totally sealed off for warmth on those really cold deep winter days - all the while protecting your head from penetration, something traditional helmet vents don't do. Called Ventilated-Double-Shell-Anti-Penetration (VDSAP), it is this ingenious design that makes the POC Sinuse SL helmet a well ventilated ski helmet that ALSO protects you from branches, gates, or other pointy objects on the hill. Incredibly, even with this double-hardshell VDSAP system, the Sinuse SL remains very lightweight.
