Level Switch Ski Gloves with BioMex Wrist Guards - for Freeskiers in the Park/Pipe

Level Switch BioMex Freestyle Gloves is the only protective glove on the market today made specifically to meet the wrist protection needs of freeskiers. After years of protecting snowboarders with their unique BioMex wrist guards, Level - a worldwide leader in high quality gloves for snow sports - recognized the explosion of freeskiers hitting the mountains. Insane tricks and rough terrain - that sounded familiar - but a rider carrying poles? That called for a significantly revised wrist protection design. Utilizing a similar wrist guard design found in there market leading snowboard gloves, but tweaking it to comfortably accommodate poles, Level engineers got to work and developed the Level Switch BioMex Freestyle Gloves.  Don't get dropped without hand and wrist protection this season- invest in a pair of Level Switch BioMex Freestyle/Park Ski Gloves.

Level Switch Freeski Gloves with built in wrist protection: What's BioMex and Why Do I Need It?

Level's BioMex wrist protection system is the result of an extensive, collaboration between snowboarders, the medical community, and engineers. A four-year study conducted by the St. Moritz (Switzerland) Orthopedic Hospital involving more than 40,000 snowboard hours and more than 2,400 participants, showed that snowboarders who wear conventional wrist guards are 4.5 times less likely to suffer wrist injuries over those who don't wear wrist guards. Level's BioMex Wrist Protection System reduces the likelihood of a snowboard wrist injury by 7.5 times.

Although Specifically Speaking to Snowboard Wrist Protection, this video from Level will give you an excellent introduction to wrist injuries and the BioMex wrist protection system

But what about freeski protection? Freeskiing has grown into it's own. The Level Biomex wrist guard has now evolved to meet the unique needs of freskiers. The BioMex wrist guard is more flexible, but still shock reducing, and ergonomically designed. It is made from high-density rubberized plastic, but has a shorter, curved wrist support that comfortably accommodates ski poles. Upon impact, the Biomex flexes to disperse the blunt force from a fall. And the BioMex wrist guard has a central pivot system at the base of the palm, so that you can position the two-piece guard in whichever way it is most comfortable for you. All Level gloves and mittens feature BioMex wrist guards and removable (and washable) liners. With Level gloves, you can easily remove the BioMex insert so you can wear it without the interior liner on warmer days.
