Smith Optics Phenom OTG Snow Goggle is Fogging's Worst Enemy

Smith Optics is no stranger to thinking outside the box. With the Phenom Turbo Fan goggle, they have come up with a revolutionary new goggle advancement that will surely be replicated by competitors for years to come. Fog can always be an issue on the mountain, and the Phenom deploys a built-in 2-speed micro electric turbo fan that eliminates the threat of a foggy lens. We love this new technology and think it will be a huge hit. 

You can't talk Smith Optics without talking the highest quality lenses. The Phenom has a spherical carbonic-x lens with TLT. TLT is Smith Optics answer to decreased visual distortion and resulting eye fatigue caused by light refraction. When light passes through any medium, it changes course. This causes visual distortion. To avoid this, Smith Optics progressively tapers the lens from the center outward to straighten the incoming light rays. This tapering (TLT technology) results in nondistorted, more accurate vision. We noticed the visual difference immediately, and we believe you will, too. 

The Phenom also includes Smith's patented porex filter which prevents optical distortion during changes in elevation and 5x anti-fog coating to help keep your vision clear for hours. Smith also designed the Phenom with an AirEvac ventilation system that interfaces with your helmet to help circulate air, reducing fogging.

To go along with their incredible turbo fan design, Smith completes the Phenom with an incredibly comfortable 2-layer driwix face foam. It will keep you comfortable as you conquer the slopes, fog free, all day long.
