For the rider who wants a solid level of upper body protection, without the cumbersome weight and rigidity of hard shell protection, the 7iDP Transition Long Sleeve Upper Body Armor is a great option. It combines a lightweight compression shell with impact hardening soft shell material.
The 7iDP Transition Short Sleeve Upper Body Armor has a Curv flexible rear spine protector that offers an elevated level of protection compared to the 7iDP soft shell Flex suit. When it comes to chest protection, it features double polygon soft foam stretched along the entire upper chest area.
The Curv flexible rear spine protector is heavy duty and features both soft shell material and an outer impact hard shell. The wide back protector is removable if you'd like to ride without it, or can be taken out to wash the armor or padding. Impact hardening shoulder and elbow pads are durable, and like the back protector is removable.
What we like best about the 7iDP Transition Long Sleeve Upper Body Armor is that 7iDP has integrated neck brace compatibility. Riders often like to pair upper body armor with a Leatt neck brace. 7iDP has done an incredible job of carving out spots where the neck brace can sit freely. The added compatibility between neck braces and the 7iDP Transition Short Sleeve Upper Body Armor is a nice bonus.
